Different genres of films have been combined by Sony Pictures for release in India in the coming season.

Next month starts with Wilfred Smith's comedy "Hitch" to be released April 15, to the romantic "Fun With Dick And Jane", followed by "Stealth", "Bewitched" and the big banner "The Da Vini Code".

According to Vikramjeet Roy, spokesperson for by Sony Pictures Releasing International, although there are several Hindi films also lined up for release April 15, none are likely to pose a competition.

"Gone are the days when Bollywood clashed with Hollywood. Today thanks to multiplexes and focused marketing, each film plays out to its own merit. That's how an 'Incredibles' could open on the same day as 'Swades'," he says.
