Buzz is that Shah Rukh Khan's small screen production house may be shutting shop soon

Word is that SRK's TV production unit Red Chillies Idiot Box has shut down. June 30 was apparently the last date of working for the team. This unit that was founded in 2009 has created 12 shows till date, including chat shows and fiction shows.

However, despite names like Farah Khan (Tere Mere Beech Mein) and Preity Zinta (Up Close and Personal with PZ) being associated with the shows, most of them have failed to catch public attention.

Our source says, "So, while the other employees have all gone home, only the post-production unit is currently working on a music show."

The unit was being headed by SRK's trusted lieutenant Samar Khan since a long time. But now rumour is that he too has moved on and joined another venture. We sent Samar an SMS regarding the same but all he replied was a smiley.
