Apparently, Saif and Kareena's nuptials could actually take place in London to avoid the media frenzy

Could Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor's wedding actually take place in London? Details to be sorted out next week

It looks like the mystery around Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor's impending wedding just got deeper. While previously the two were slated to tie the knot in October, Saif recently surprised the media by announcing that the wedding had been pushed back to the year-end. Now buzz is that instead of Pataudi, the wedding may not take place in India at all.

Moving continents?
The groom's mother Sharmila Tagore apparently was overheard telling someone that the wedding venue may move across continents — to London.

Our source says, "The reason could be that the family wants to avoid media frenzy that happens around most celebrity weddings in the country." A source close to the family adds, "The entire Pataudi family will be going to Bhopal next week and that is when the exact venue and date will be decided."

Hush-hush affair?
According to our sources, another reason why the Pataudis would want the wedding to take place in London is because Saif wants a very quiet wedding. Another source says, "Saif cannot decide who to invite and who to leave out from the guest list. So, he wants to head to London."

Mum's the word
Incidentally, while earlier Saif's sister Soha didn't hesitate speaking about the wedding, even on social networking sites, suddenly now she seems to have taken a vow of silence.

To our message regarding the change of the wedding venue, her prompt response was, ‘No comment.' Kareena's spokesperson told us, "We will announce to the whole world when the wedding takes place."
