The lady was looking gorgeous and even shot for an ad with her sister. In an interview to CS, the glam girls talk about beauty, fashion and shopping:
Camera calls
Shilpa: Shooting for the ad was great fun. We didn`t have to act per se. Our chemistry always comes out well. All in all, it was a fabulous experience. Now, I am married I don`t live with Shamita. Doing the ad meant we could spend time together.
Shamita: After Fareb in 2005, this is the second time we are facing the camera together. It was a nice experience.
Beautiful babes
Shilpa: As sisters, we were unaware of the concept of looking beautiful till we were around 15. Post my 10th standard, I did a beautician`s course and got a hang of beauty, grooming, etc. Today, kids are far more knowledgeable about fashion and beauty. I started following Dimple Kapadia`s hairstyles after watching Ram Lakhan. When it came to acting, Sridevi was my No.1
Shamita: I was a complete tomboy totally engrossed in sports. Most of the time, I would roam around in shorts and T-shirts. When it came to B-town actresses, I idolised Madhuri Dixit and Sridevi for their dancing skills and expressions.
Tress stress
Shilpa: In monsoons, I would tell every girl to condition her hair well. Frizzy hair is a common problem with Indian women, and that can be handled with a good conditioner and serum.
Shamita: My advice would be the same. In case, these don`t work just do a nice ponytail and accessorise with clips. Problem sorted.
Shopping sisters
Shilpa: I hate shopping with Shamita. Whenever we go to a mall, Shamita enters every shop and tries out 30 different outfits. I pick up a couple of outfits and buy them without trying. But we do take each other`s advice as we are our best and worst critics.
Shamita: I trust Shilpa`s choice. She always does something different and makes it look good. Shilpa has always made me do `hatke` stuff. I love shopping with her.
