The recently released Hindi movie 'Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum' (KSKHH) has attracted ire for portraying Goan Christian priests in a poor taste and insulting the religion.

Congress legislator Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco raised the matter in the state legislative assembly demanding to ban the movie screening.

`Chunky Pandey's role of a Christian priest in the movie has offended the religion. I want the Chief Minister (Manohar Parrikar) to ban the screening of the movie,` Lourenco said as few other Congress legislators nodded in agreement.

Responding to his demand, Parrikar explained that state government does not have any right to ban a movie screening while also stating the he will move to the Central government in this regard.

The comedy flick produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor hit the silver screen last Friday, July 27. The movie stars Tusshar Kapoor and Ritesh Deshmukh among others.
