Actor lends his voice to an animation film based on the legendary tale of Krishna
Manoj Bajpai is excited about his forthcoming release, a kiddie animation film that is a far cry from his latest gangster film.
Manoj lends his voice for the character of Nandlal, Krishna's foster father in this film that is
based on the Lord and his evil uncle Kans.
The actor says, `It is a story all of us grew up with. I remember the thrill we used to get when we heard that Krishna as a child defeated Kans in the end.`
Speaking about animation as a genre, Manoj adds, `Tell me,
who doesn't love animation films? It is a great platform to express one's creativity. I think such films combine technology and artistic talent in a wonderful manner.`
In fact, the high quality of animation in this project is what impressed Manoj to sign up for the film.
The actor says, `When I signed this film, my daughter Ava wasn't born. I feel that if I gave the voice for my character
after her birth, probably the emotions would have come out even better.`
