"Indian Idol 6" contestant Amit Kumar was in for a huge surprise when superstar Salman Khan gifted him a brand new bike.

Salman had appeared on the singing reality show along with Katrina Kaif to promote their film "Ek Tha Tiger". He surprised Amit by gifting him a swanky bike. The actor even shared a few safety tips and set him off on a ride.

Amit, 20, comes from an humble background and his dream is to be a good singer.

So far he is one among the favourites of judges Asha Bhosle, Anu Malik, Sunidhi Chauhan and Salim Merchant.
