After delighting audiences with his youthful role in "Cocktail", actor Saif Ali Khan is set to try his action avatar for Tigmanshu Dhulia's
new film "Bullet Raja".
"My next film will be an action film with Saif Ali Khan. The film is titled 'Bullet Raja'. The film will go on floors in November and will be
shot in and around Lucknow, " Dhulia told.
The film's narrative will be set against the backdrop of Uttar Pradesh-based mafia, and it will deal with the underworld.
One wonders if Saif's character would be similar in anyway to his portrayal of Langda Tyagi in Vishal Bhardwaj's critically acclaimed
"Omkara".
But Dhulia said: "The character in my film is not like Langda Tyagi at all. Once I only said that when Saif, who is a very urban guy, can
carry the role of Langda Tyagi in 'Omkara' so convincingly, then he can do any role. So people are drawing my reference in a different
way."
Dhulia, who is riding high on the success of "Paan Singh Tomar", recently finished the shooting of "Sahib, Biwi Aur Gangster 2". He will
roll the cameras for "Bullet Raja" with Saif starting November.
