The young industrialist joins an NGO in aid of underprivileged children of the country

In the past, several industrialists in India have found ways to give back to the society. It looks like Siddharth Mallya too has decided to extend a helping hand in the aid of underprivileged children from around the country.

Sidhartha has lent his name to an NGO called Magic Bus to be their good will ambassador. Our source said, `Sid takes his responsibility as a mature citizen of the country very seriously.

During the IPL, he explained the special initiatives undertaken by the team this year including joining hands with WWF-India as the face of Bangalore for Earth hour 2012.`

The source further added, `As part of his role as the ambassador, Sid also visited one of the children's centres of Magic Bus in Mumbai to spend time with the children and understand them before embarking upon his journey with them.

He has even offered to host workshops and maybe a special event with them sometime during the course of his association this year.` The NGO works with children and youth living in poverty, in the areas of education, health, gender and livelihood.
