As actor Sridevi celebrated her birthday on Monday, filmmaker R Balki gifted her a special present.

The theatrical trailer of her film English Vinglish was unveiled on Monday.

The official three minutes trailer was launched on the occasion of her birthday in an event attended by the cast and crew of the film including Sridevi.

`It's really sweet of Balki and Gauri to decide to launch the first theatrical promo on my birthday, ` said an excited Sridevi.

English Vinglish marks Sridevi's come back to the silver screen after 15 years.

Sridevi plays the central role of a housewife, who enrolls for an English speaking course in order to overcome the complexities of the language barrier.

The film is produced by R Balki and directed by debutant Gauri Shinde.
