Filmmaker Shirish Kunder's upcoming film "Joker" has been passed by the censor board with U certificate.

"#JOKER Update: Censor gives 'U' Certificate with no cuts. Calls it a clean family entertainer they have seen in a long time, " Kunder tweeted.

The film, slated for a Aug 31 release, also features Sonakshi Sinha, Shreyas Talpade and Minissha Lamba.
