"I am just excited. I am happy that people have responded to the trailer the way they have. I am only getting responses like it looks good, it's epic, it looks grand, the characters are jumping through. I am keeping my fingers crossed," the 36-year-old said here Sunday at the inaugural of India International Jewellery Fashion Week.
For "Chakravyuh", Jha has picked up the Maoist problem in the country as the focal point of the story and has teamed up with Arjun Rampal, Esha Gupta, Manoj Bajpayee, Kabir Bedi and Om Puri for the film.
Abhay, whose last release was "Shanghai", was accompanied by "Rockstar" fame Nargis Fakhri at the event.
When asked if he would like to work with Nargis in a film, Abhay said: "I don't know, she turned down any film that had me in it. So Nargis, would you like to work with me?"
Nargis replied: "Yeah, why not, a comedy. He just found out that I am hilarious."
Abhay's rejoinder was: "Soon, may be."
