Actor Sonakshi Sinha sealed her spot in Dance India Dance (DID) record books by becoming the first celebrity guest to anchor the first
segment of the pilot episode of Zee TV's new talent hunt DID Dance Ke Superkids.
Little masters Jeetumoni and Jeet Das welcomed her with flowers. Sonakshi looked resplendent in a cream coloured dress and
promoted her latest film 'Joker'.
Choreographer-director and judge of the show Farah Khan said, "This was not planned but the pilot episode happened to get shot on the
auspicious occasion of Eid which proves that the show has the Almighty's blessings."
Sonakshi was the first guest to complete Om Chetri's challenges.
She was not only successful in doing the famous hands movement 'Chinta Ta Ta Chita Chita' from the movie Rowdy Rathode in double
the original speed but also walked the stage with Raghav Crockroaz Juyal's matching step by step of his famous slow motion routine.
As they walked the stage hand in hand judges Farah and Marzi hooted: "Oye Haath Chor.. Leave her hand."
Co-judge Geeta asked Raghav, "Raghav every time a beautiful actress comes on out sets, you hold her hand. Chakkar kya hai boss?"
Here Sonakshi came to his rescue and said, "It was not him but me who held his hand. I am wearing such high heels that its
impossible to do the slow mo routine without support."
The kids had prepared a special group act for Sonakshi. She was so touched that she joined them on the dance floor and did an
impromptu jig.
Just before leaving Sonakshi said to host Jay Bhanushali, "While I was coming to the sets I met two of your biggest fans. When I told
them that I am meeting you in a short while, they pleaded me to take them along with me."
This was the cue for the aliens from 'Joker' to come on stage and trouble Jay. They hugged him, poked his ears and acted clingy till
Sonakshi intervened. But not before having a hearty laugh.
Cute kid Shreya Acharya who was a contestant in DID L'il Masters Season 2 was introduced as the co-anchor of the show along with
Jay.
