Saira Banu, who turned 68, made her debut in the film 'Junglee' in 1961 where she was cast opposite Shammi Kapoor.
Though after 'Junglee' she established herself as a successful actress of the industry in 1960's and early 1970's, the turning point in her career was Sunil Dutt, Kishore Kumar, Mehmood starred romantic-comedy film 'Padosan'.
Saira Banu was trained in Kathak and Bharata Natyam dance forms and flaunted her dance style in most of her films.
She married legendary actor Dilip Kumar in 1966.
Malaika, who turned 39 this year, started her career as a VJ on MTV. After her successful career as a television presenter, she opted for modeling and was equally successful in the same.
Malaika rose to instant fame with her item number 'Chaiyya Chaiyya' in the 1998 film 'Dil Se..'.
Later she performed to hit item numbers in films like 'Kaal', 'Heyy Babyy', 'Kaante', 'Welcome' and 'Housefull 2'.
She also featured in an item song 'Munni Badnaam Hui' in 2010 blockbuster movie 'Dabangg'. The song became an instant hit topping the charts.
Malaika is married to Bollywood actor-director-producer Arbaaz Khan and they have a son named Arhaan.
