Actor is on a weight loss programme to look like a 21-year-old villager in Tigmanshu Dhulia's next film

Jimmy Sheirgill who is back from shooting the sequel of Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster surprised director Tigmanshu Dhulia by his lean makeover. The change in his appearance has landed him another film which is a satire based in Chambal Valley. But the filmmaker wants him to lose more weight to fit the bill. And Jimmy has agreed to do the needful.

Apparently Tigmanshu, who is the creative producer of the film, had been looking for someone to play an innocent-looking 21-year-old villager for quite sometime now and is glad that his casting search is done.

The filmmaker adds, `After working with Jimmy in four films, I know his potential as an actor. I was surprised to see him looking so lean and young. And given his commitment, he'll do what it takes to justify the role. Since it is a performance-driven role, I know he would fit the bill perfectly too.`

On the other hand, Jimmy is currently in the process of shedding extra kilos by hiring a dietician and a personal trainer.

His workout regime starts early in the morning everyday and goes on for two hours in spite of his recurring neck and spine problem. We also heard that the project will be filmed at similar locations where Tigmanshu's previous film Paan Singh Tomar was shot.
