"Today's actors are more committed to the way they look and act. They work out and struggle to be in shape for their roles. They rehearse for days before shooting anything. And they come to the set after doing their homework," she told.
"Earlier, an actor would often gain weight between two shots and nobody would tell him anything. But today, if this happens, the director might even cancel the shoot and ask him to get rid of weight," the actress said comparing both the times.
According to her, the younger lot is very responsible and hard working because of the neck-to-neck competition they are faced with.
Talking about some of her favourite actors, she said: "They are all so good. In the girls, I like Vidya (Vidya Balan) and Deepika (Deepika Padukone). Among boys, I like Ranbir Kapoor and Aamir Khan," she said.
