Actress Richa Chadda, seen in crime thriller "Gangs Of Wasseypur", is set to play a mafia don in Farhan Akhtar's next production "Fukrey", a comedy.

Richa has been signed on for a significant role in the film. Her character will be called Boli Punjaban.

"Yes, Richa Chadda has been signed for 'Fukrey', " Ritesh Sidhwani, partner in Farhan's Excel Entertainment, said in a statement.

Atul Kasbekar, whose agency Bling! looks after Richa's work, says "Ritesh saw 'Gangs of Wasseypur' and loved Richa's performance."

Pulkit Samrat of "Bittoo Boss" fame is the lead actor in "Fukrey". But Richa does not have a role opposite him. Other actors for the movie are yet to be finalised.

The film's title is a slang, which means good-for-nothing.

Directed by debutant Mrigdeep Singh Lamba, "Fukrey" is a buddy movie, revolving around Delhi-based youngsters and their life in high school and later, college.
