Actor-turned-filmmaker Deepak Tijori has finally locked a fresh face, a girl named Alisha, for his new directorial 'Dare You'

The suspense thriller is being co-produced by Denis Selarka and Mehul Simaria under their banner, Blueberry Films. Alisha has signed a three-film deal with Blueberry Films. "Dare You" will be launched Sep 18 with its poster and teaser in Mumbai.

She was chosen to star as the lead actress after a rigorous audition process. Deepak, along with the producers, auditioned over 800 girls since January, to play the lead role of Rani Diwan in the film.


Since they were very particular about the main protagonist, they wanted a fresh beautiful face and someone very talented. Alisha fitted the bill perfectly, said a source. The film narrates the journey of Rani Diwan - her rise from an innocent college girl into an icon.
