"I have been painting for almost a year now. Before that I did not know what to do, but now life has steadied and yes, painting is a good way to take my thoughts and creativity forward, " said Mugdha.
"Acting and dancing are the arts we are always involved in, but painting is something new I am trying my hand at, " the 26-year-old told reporters here Monday at the inauguration of Shyam Kishore Mishra's art and painting exhibition.
The actress, who had a sizeable role in Madhur Bhandarkar's "Fashion", is playing a cameo in "Heroine". She says working with Kareena Kapoor was more important for her than the size of the role.
" 'Heroine, ' yes, I am doing a cameo and I am happy that I am a part of a good film. Madhurji (Bhandarkar) is a good director and I like working with him. Kareena is one of my favourite actresses, I got to share screen space with her."
"It's nice but I can't tell you anything about the character, you go and watch the film, " she added.
Mugdha was last seen in "Will You Marry Me" and is currently working in "Afra Tafri" and "Oh God! Saare Hain Fraud".
