"I am not at all nervous because the script is good and Sanjay Gupta is a very experienced director. His hold on the medium of the film is very strong and 'Shootout At Wadala' is a brand, it's the first prequel and the public is enjoying action-packed entertaining films, " the 35-year-old said here.
"I am sure 'Shootout At Wadala' will get a good reception. I hope it does very well at the box-office, but that only time will decide, " he added.
Tusshar has been sporting a beard for his role in the film, and he hopes the viewers appreciate it.
"This (the beard) is for 'Shootout At Wadala'. It is a 1970s character and he is a gangster, so the look has to be rough. But I am enjoying it, people are liking the look and I hope they accept it on-screen as well, " he said.
A Balaji production, "Shootout At Wadala", a prequel to 2007 film "Shootout At Lokhandwala", also features John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Kangna Ranaut, Sonu Sood and Manor Bajpayee. It is slated to release May 2013.
