Sanjay Suri wants to break free from his 'serious' mould and try out comedy for a change

Perhaps working repeatedly in films with serious themes ultimately takes a toll on actors too! At least that seems to be the case with Sanjay Suri. The actor-producer who is known for appearing in socially relevant movies is eagerly looking forward to getting back to comedy.

Sanjay who has earlier acted in rom-coms like Jhankaar Beats is playing a cop in his next and is currently shooting for a film in which he's essaying a stern landlord. He feels that comic roles are not only easier to portray but also functions as stress-busters.

`Right now, I'd love to choose a lighter role. As of now, a decent comedy or a comedy thriller would be great. Over the last few years, I've been busy being part of heavy stuff.

The thing is serious films drain a lot out of you in terms of the stress associated with the performance, ` says the 41-year-old. Well said, then.
