Bejoy Nambiar pays tribute to 1940s gangster films by shooting certain portions of his next in black and white

Over the years, filmmakers have experimented with the black and white format on the big screen. The latest is that in Bejoy Nambiar's upcoming film, the director has recreated the black and white era in certain parts of the storyline.

Buzz is that the parts that portray Neil Nitin Mukesh have been shot in black and white. Our source says, `Bejoy's latest film is the story of three individuals by the same name across different time zones. The director has given a different colour palette to every story. The black and white palette is exclusively for Neil's portions in the film.`

The black and white portions interestingly are a tribute to the gangster films of the '40s and '50s. This particular sequence was shot in Belfast, in Northern Ireland.
