"We are hoping for a successful Diwali. There is a lot of buzz about the film ('Son of Sardaar') and as the music director of the film, I am very, very confident of the film," the 39-year-old said here in an interview.
"Of course, 'Raani tu main Raaja' has already become popular and everyone is liking the title track. So, I am very confident of the music after 'Bodyguard' and 'Bol Bachchan'," he added.
Directed by Ashwni Dhir, "Son Of Sardaar" stars Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt and Sonakshi Sinha and releases Nov 13.
Meanwhile, Reshammiya is currently busy playing mentor on the singing reality show "Sur Kshetra", where he's been seen exchanging heated arguments with singer Atif Aslam, the mentor of Pakistani singers on the show.
Asked if it is scripted, Reshammiya, who is the mentor of Indian singers on the show, said, "It is not scripted, Atif is also in a way representing his country. India has a big name in the field of music. I am teaching my contestants whatever I can and Asha-ji (Bhosle) can. I believe India deserves to win."
