Thanks to Sonu Sood's height, physique and body language, comparisons with Amitabh Bachchan have always been there. He talks about the legend

`The constant comparison with Amitabh Bachchan comes as a huge pressure. He has set such a benchmark and I hope and believe that even if I achieve 10 per cent of what he has achieved, I would consider myself blessed. We have all grown up watching his films and every actor has a little bit of Bachchan in him.

I remember two very distinct incidents: one was when I was playing Abhishek Bachchan's brother in Mani sir's film Yuva. Everyone who saw the film told Mani sir that no one except me could play Abhishek's brother.

Even sir told me that we played brothers so convincingly. Finally, when I played his son in Bbuddha Hoga Terra Baap, the director Puri Jagannath said no one could have played a better son than Sonu Sood.

Trishul, Deewar and Sholay are like Bible for me. Then there is Kala Patthar. I think Big B is the only actor who looked best in comedy, convincing in action and stupendous in emotional scenes.

I remember the first time I saw him was during my struggling days, and I used to walk from Bandra to Andheri everyday. I saw him outside his iconic bungalow and he was stepping into his car. Like every fan, even I stood there watching him.`
