When Bollywood actors hang out with directors, it's but natural for the rumour mills to slog. That's precisely why the recent buzz involving Chitrangada Singh and Tigmanshu Dhulia seem interesting. The two have been spotted regularly at a suburban five-star hotel in the city discussing something over a meal.
It's not a big deal, but given their present professional commitments, the timing appears rather odd. According to a well-placed source, `It's a common practice amongst the film fraternity to meet and discuss work.
However in Chitrangada and Tigmanshu's case, both are supposed to be busy with their respective films they are currently working on. So this peculiarity makes it pretty obvious that the filmmaker is keen on having the actress in his next.`
Chitrangada, who recently had an image makeover with an item number in Joker, is currently working in Kapil Sharma's I, Me, aur Main.
She has already wrapped up Sudhir Mishra's Inkaar - which is set to release early next year - in which she's playing a corporate woman who goes through sexual exploitation. On the other hand, Tigmanshu, who completed the shooting of Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 2, has reportedly started work on Bullet Raja.
Under these circumstances, one can only wonder whether the director is planning to cast Chitrangada in his untitled project. `They've been meeting quite regularly now so we can expect something concrete to come out of these discussions.
After all, Tigmanshu is very particular when it comes to casting and Chitrangada is someone who fits the bill for the kind of serious movies he is known to make, ` says the source.
