Nandita Puri, wife of Actor Om Puri has written ‘Nine on Nine' a book on women.

Published by Rupa and Co. Amitabh Bachchan, Gulzar and other celebrities were present for the launch of the book at ITC Grand Maratha Sheraton in Mumbai on Friday.

Amitabh Bachchan read from the collection. In her collection of insightful tales, Nandita Puri characters drawn from different environment and situations. Her protagonists are women with minds of their own, driven by motives that are at times comprehensible and at other times baffling.

Prominent personalities from different field were present there at the launch of the book.
