According to reports, the reception will have a Mughal theme and large number of celebrities are expected to attend it.
The list of invitees for the Dawat-e-Walima, that has been arranged by Khan's mother and yesteryear Bollwood actress Sharmila Tagore, includes names like Congress chief Sonia Gandhi, Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission Montek Singh Ahluwalia, Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit, senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Arun Jaitley, former cricketers Kapil Dev and Abbas Ali Baig.
The reception is likely to start at around 8 pm.
Khan is likely to wear a Raghavendra Rathore creation at the reception while Kareena will either don a pink gharara or a pink-blue or green sari, reports said.
