Newly-wed Bollywood star couple Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor, who had a registered marriage on Tuesday, will host a grand reception at a government bungalow in Delhi on Thursday, media reports said.

According to reports, the reception will have a Mughal theme and large number of celebrities are expected to attend it.

The list of invitees for the Dawat-e-Walima, that has been arranged by Khan's mother and yesteryear Bollwood actress Sharmila Tagore, includes names like Congress chief Sonia Gandhi, Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission Montek Singh Ahluwalia, Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit, senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Arun Jaitley, former cricketers Kapil Dev and Abbas Ali Baig.

The reception is likely to start at around 8 pm.

Khan is likely to wear a Raghavendra Rathore creation at the reception while Kareena will either don a pink gharara or a pink-blue or green sari, reports said.

The couple reportedly attended several ceremonies at Khan's ancestral home Pataudi Palace in Haryana on Wednesday.

Khan and Kareena had a registered marriage on Tuesday and later threw a grand reception at Taj Mahal Palace hotel in Mumbai where the couple reportedly exchanged vows.

Large number of Bollywood celebrities attended the reception amid reports that the couple had a 'nikaah' ceremony in the hotel on Tuesday night but it was not confirmed.

Eminent personalities including Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri, industrialist Ratan Tata, actors Ranbir Kapoor, Amrita Arora, Malaika Arora Khan, Tusshar Kapoor, Priety Zinta, filmmaker Karan Johar, Salman Khan's sister Alvira, actor Anil Kapoor with daughter Sonam Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, filmmaker R Balki with wife Gauri Shinde attended the bash.

On Monday night, the hottest couple of the Indian film industry had a 'mehendi' ceremony and sit down dinner at the Taj Mahal Palace hotel in Mumbai. It was attended by family members and close friends.

Saifeena, as the couple is popularly called, celebrated their 'Sangeet' ceremony on Sunday night at Kareena's Bandra home.

Several Bollywood celebrities including Neetu Singh, Babita, Sanjay Kapoor, Manish Malhotra, Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Khemu attended it.

Kareena lookeed stunning in an orange and gold lehenga saree designed by designer Manish Malhotra.

Khan on the other hand wore a white Nehru jacket over a kurta.

This will be Khan's second marriage.

His first marriage with actress Amrita Singh, with whom he has two children, ended in 2004.

For Kareena, this is her second long-term relationship after she dated actor Shahid Kapoor for three years.
