"The film may get banned in Pakistan because it involves Shah Rukh Khan in an army operation in Kashmir. The trailer too has been stopped from being screened on various TV channels in Pakistan," a source told TOI.
"The movie shows SRK as part of a bomb disposal squad in the Indian Army who is up to some serious action in Kashmir, which may be the reason it might be banned," the source said.
The film has not been presented before the Pakistan censor board so far.
Earlier, Indian films like Salman Khan's 'Ek Tha Tiger' and Saif Ali Khan's 'Agent Vinod' were banned in Pakistan.
Yash Chopra died on Sunday after spending a week in hospital coping with dengue fever.
He was 80 when his death came.
'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' features Bollywood actors Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in lead roles.
It is scheduled to hit the big screen on Nov 13.
