Buzz is that the 'Student of the Year' actor will appear in a music track from daddy David's upcoming 'Chashme Buddoor' remake

While the nation is going ga ga over Varun Dhawan's recent bollywood debut, looks like his father David Dhawan just can't wait to have his son appear in his projects.

Buzz is that Dhawan Junior will be a part of David's new film, if only for a music track. Our source says, `Varun has amassed a huge fan following. He was going to work with David sooner or later.`

A source close to the filmmaker says, `David could be directing Varun for a song from his upcoming remake of Sai Paranjpe's Chashme Buddoor.

The song will be timed to introduce the cast of the film, who will step into the shoes of Farooque Shaikh, Deepti Naval, Saeed Jaffrey and Rakesh Bedi.` `Varun could get the younger audience curious about an old classic,` adds the source.
