Mishra was seen in films like Don, Gandhi My Father, Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, and 3 Idiots.
In the Filmfare award-winning movie, Mishra played the character of Librarian Dubey.
Having shared the screen with Aamir earlier, he sent his good wishes for his new film Taalash.
`Aamir Khan is one of the most talented actors I have ever shared the screen with. The Indian suspense thriller of Aamir and Kareena will be a huge success, considering the fact that both of them make a good couple on the screen,` said Mishra.
Mishra portrays Umed Singh Veer Singh Bundela's father in the hugely popular daily soap Uttaran aired on Colours.
The serial recently completed its 1000 episodes.
`My co-actors are almost like family to me and it just feels that we just started shooting yesterday. It feels great to see how we have progressed as a team and we have shared sets over 3 years,` he said.
The actor said he looks for good scripts and never shies away from being selective when it comes to taking roles, be it in the small or big screen.
Mishra had to turn down a lucrative offer from filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, as he found there was an unconvincing script for his character.
He was proposed to play the father of Shradha Kapoor in Bhatt's upcoming film Aashiqui 2.
"I always wanted to work with the Bhatt team as we have known each other for a long time. Hope it will work out in a different project..Just the character has to be interesting and hopefully unusual," Mishra said.
