Veteran Film maker Subhash Ghai is looking for a completely new face for his film Kaanchi. The director wants someone who has never acted in a movie and does not have a particular set image in the Bollywood film industry.

Subhash Ghai said "For the film we are looking for a new girl for the title role. She should be a complete newcomer and should not have acted in any film before. Other than this, she can be a model or a TV artist."

The director has already signed on Rishi Kapoor who plays the Negative Part in the film along with Mithun Chakraborthy in a role never seen before.

The director further added "The character is very performance-oriented. Either she should be like that in reality or she must be able to act well."

Kaanchi will be shot in India, Jammu and Kashmir and some portions in abroad. Ismail Darbar scores the music of the film and is slated to release in December 2013.
