He has responded to recent reports which claimed that Ranbir is in two minds about sharing screen space with Shah Rukh Khan in Karan Johar's next film, a period love story. Even while Johar has denied having locked any such script, Ranbir cleared the air from his side too.
"There is nothing that has been offered to me. I don't believe in first lead, second lead, third lead. I had myself done a film called 'Raajneeti', where there was nothing like I am the the first lead or somebody else was second lead.
It was a good script and if it's a character that individually excites me first as an actor, of course I do it. But there is no film as such that has been offered to me, " said Ranbir.
The actor was present at the DVD launch of "Barfi!" and was also accompanied by director Anurag Basu and actress Ileana D'Cruz.
On the film front, Ranbir is busy shooting for "Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani". Besides that, he will also be seen in "Besharam" and "Bombay Velvet".
