Actor Paresh Rawal shot for a promotional video for his forthcoming film "Table No. 21" but feels such things are not important for a movie.

"As far as promotions of the film is concerned, it is necessary. But as an actor I feel it is not required," the 62-year-old said here Friday on the location of the song.

"Since I am a part of the film, so I have to do it. No matter how much I try to stay away from it, I still have to do it. But I feel it's not important," he added.

Talking about the film, he said: "It's an emotional thriller and to call it a suspense would be wrong."

Directed by Aditya Datt, "Table No. 21" also stars Rajeev Khandelwal and Tena Desae and will hit theatres Jan 4 next year.
