After giving powerful performances in 'Hey Ram', 'Chandni Bar' and 'Rang De Basanti', actor Atul Kulkarni says he has no regrets that despite his 15-year-old career he is yet to do a solo film

I have no regrets for not having a solo career in Bollywood because when I joined the film industry I was 35 years old. No body gets solo leads when they start their career at this age, ' he told. Atul, 47, rather said he finds himself lucky to be a part of the industry when directors are experimenting with new genre of films.

'I am working at this time when people are making films on different themes and there are audiences who appreciate them. I am lucky to be a part of them. The present ambience of our industry is most suitable for the new breed of actors, ' he added.

Asked about the criteria of selecting a film, the actor said, 'I chose those films which I would like as a spectator. Then, I also look at the character and decide whether I will enjoy playing it as an actor.' The NSD graduate, who won a national award for his role in 'Hey Ram', will be seen next in the 'Zanjeer' remake, Ram Gpoal Varma's 'The Attacks of 26/11' and K C Bokadia's film 'Dirty Politics'.

Meanwhile, the actor is busy with news channel ABP's new show 'Second Opinion', where he will be seen as a presenter. The show is based on the medico-legal cases of the society.
