Director Vishawas Patil ropes in the actress to portray the role of a courtesan in his upcoming love story

Kangna Ranaut is all set for an image makeover. She will be playing a mujrewali in an upcoming film. Author-turned-director Vishawas Patil has already started shooting his next, a love story of a boy and a girl from different religious communities.

A source from the sets says, `Kangna will play the main lead in the film and is slated to visit some of the red-light areas in Mumbai to prep for her role. She essays a courtesan, hence will have to perform some mujra dance numbers. She is keen to learn some dance steps and will undergo training soon.`
