Over the weekend, Ajay Devgn was shooting for Sajid Khan's remake of a 1980s Jeetendra-Sridevi starrer in Chembur. On arriving at the location, the star was taken aback.

It was exactly the same venue where he had shot for his debut flick Phool Aur Kante 21 years ago. And the place still looked the same untouched by Mumbai's concretisation in the past two decades.
Shooting at the same spot made the star go down memory lane. As the place still looked the same, the actor remembered everything about the place!
Says a unit source, `He went in flashback mode. Everything came back to him of the shoot for his first step in B-Town. He was heard telling the unit folk the various incidents from his Phool Aur Kante days what they shot where.` Adds the source, `Ajay was also extremely happy to see that the colony where the shoot was happening was still as beautiful as it was before. The lush plants and serene atmosphere made him enjoy shooting there all the more.
In a city where most locations are polluted and commercial, he was surprised to see that the colony was maintained so well for 20 years. It made him remember every little detail of his entry into the industry.` Devgn who is reprising Jeetendra's role in the Vashu Bhagnani production has South actress Tamannah as his co-star.
