Mithun Chakraborty's love for dogs is known. And now Mithun da has taken his love to newer heights by wanting to do something more for his four-legged friends.

It is a known fact that Mithun da has over 38 dogs in his Mumbai bungalow and twice the amount in Ooty. Now, he has joined the Kennel Club of India and is working on helping animals to the fullest.

Says S Raman, Secretary, Calcutta Kennel Club, "When people like Mithun da who are genuine dog lovers join us, it motivates more and more people to stand up in defence of animals." Touche!
