Tamil superstar Kamal Haasan's next film "Vettaiyadu Vellaiyadu" (No room for controversy) will be an entertainer containing the right mix of fun and action, the actor said
Monday.
The film, slated for a Deepavali release, will feature Jyotika as the leading lady, Kamal told journalists during his first news conference after the release of his home
production "Mumbai Xpress".
Produced by Khaja Mohideen and directed by Gowtham ("Kaakha Kaakha"), "Vettaiyadu Vellaiyadu" would have the right mix of fun, frolic and action. A lot of innovative
things have been planned for the movie, which surely will be an entertainer, he said.
Regretting that he had made the director Gowtham wait for a long time since he was preoccupied with "Mumbai Xpress", Kamal said: "I consider it a privilege to be part of
director Gowtham's film. He is one of the few young directors known for his pursuit for excellence."
Kamal has now acted under directors spanning three generations.
Rumours are agog that Kamal will be playing dual roles - a good guy and a bad guy. He last played a dual role in "Alavandhan" a few years ago.
Haris Jeyaraj will be the music director for the movie.
