Bipasha Basu is celebrating her special day with a few close ones in Goa

When it comes to B-Town, birthday parties are always an affair to remember. And such cynosure events are mostly held in the city itself. However, Bipasha Basu is spending her special day away from Mumbai with a handful of dear friends.

The Bong bombshell who recently launched her second fitness video turns 34 today. She has had a busy week but she's not complaining as she's looking forward to throwing a private bash in Goa.

People expected to turn up are long-time buddy designer Rocker S, along with some other close friends and relatives. `She left for Goa yesterday and will be spending the day there with her loved ones and will be back only on Tuesday.

Also, she has always adored the place for its wonderful beaches and have been planning for a while to arrange a beach party there,` says a source close to her.

On being asked whether there will be Bollywood actors present at her do, the leggy lass turns diplomatic. `I like celebrating my birthday and I'm one of those who live for the moment.


Since this is a once-a-year event, I want it to be a private event attended by those whom I cherish having in my life. I don't think I'd want it any other way,` smiles Bips.
