Apparently, Deepika Padukone rushes in to watch Ranbir perform rather than interacting with media at recent awards gala

The world may be talking about her alleged romance with Ranveer Singh but looks like Deepika Padukone just can't forget her former flame Ranbir Kapoor.

At a recent awards show, instead of waiting to give the usual sound-bytes to the media, Dippy apparently rushed off inside the venue to catch Ranbir in action. RK was set to perform his dance number on the stage and our sources say that the actress didn't want to miss seeing him.

Our source present at the venue says, `Ranbir was going to perform with his mother. Their act was his tribute to the Kapoor family. Deepika was keen to him dance. Around the same time she was asked to address the media by the show organisers but she requested them to let her watch his act.`


Our informers add that during the show, both RK and Dippy's vanity vans were parked alongside. But they couldn't catch up with each other before the show started. Later when the show ended, Deepika left without talking to the assembled media.

We wonder which topic she was trying to avoid!

However, Dippy's spokesperson insists that the actress left only after giving media bytes.
