Ameesha Patel, who is currently busy with the promotions of her upcoming film Race 2, is very happy with the way the film has shaped up. The actress, who recently returned from Dubai, with the entire crew will be leaving for New Delhi as well to promote the film. Ameesha is very keen to have a special screening of the film for her dear friends and a few close people from the industry as well.
When quizzed Ameesha replies, `Yes, I'm planning to have a private show for my friends and people whom I'm close to. Though my role is small, I really enjoyed doing every bit of it and I'm proud to be part of it. All the actors have done a wonderful job.`
She adds, `Working with such beautiful actresses like Deepika (Padukone) and Jacqueline (Fernandez) only encouraged me more to look as beautiful as they are and work even harder on her character.`
Ameesha is not only excited because of Race 2 but even more since her other film Shortcut Romeo with Neil Nitin Mukesh is also ready for release by April.
Sources close to the industry who have seen few glimpses of Shortcut Romeo have only good things to say about the film.
Ameesha will soon resume the second schedule of Bhaiyyaji Superhit with Sunny Deol in March. Before that she is looking forward to start work on her home production Desi Magic as well.
Add the sources, `Ameesha and her business partner Kuunal Goomer are going the Karan Johar way and are going to launch two fresh faces for their home production Desi Magic opposite Ameesha.`
But Ameesha maintains, `We can't answer this yet but yes the film is very fresh, youthful and an out-and-out entertainer. It will cater to family and today's youth audiences as well. Yes, may be we may lock on some fresh faces but nothing has been confirmed as yet.`
With two back-to-back releases in 2013 beginning and much more ahead we guess Ameesha couldn't have expected a better start in the new year.
