It seems like actor Vidyut Jammwal's high-octane stunts in his new film "Commando" is likely to change the definition of action genre in the
Hindi film industry. The trailer of the film released online Friday and has already generated a lot of buzz.
The action sequences seem to be at par with international standards and the actor has performed all the stunts without using any body
doubles or cables.
"The trailer is outstanding and the stunts (minus ropes and wires) performed by Vidyut himself will make your blood run cold," said an
industry source.
The film, co-produced by Reliance and Vipul Shah, is touted to change the landscape of the action genre in India. It will hit the screens in
March.
Trade analysts Komal Nahta and Taran Adarsh too heap praises at Vidyut's onscreen feat.
"Get set for action/stunts you've never ever witnessed on the Hindi screen. Vidyut Jammwal is all set to stun and shock you in 'Commando'.
'Commando' is designed as a vehicle to project Vidyut Jammwal's biggest strength: His stunts, which he has performed without
cables/wires," said Adarsh.
Nahta added: "Vidyut Jammwal's stunts (done without wires) are breathtaking!"
