Amitabh Bachchan pens the foreword of ad filmmaker and friend Subramani Ramachandran's new book

Trust Amitabh Bachchan to do this! Earlier he had joined hands with noted ad filmmaker R Balki to make Cheeni Kum and Paa. Now Big B has taken time out to write the foreword of another ad maker and friend Subramani Ramachandran aka Subbu's soon-to-release book of poetry.

Our source says, `Subbu has penned some beautiful Urdu poetry in his book Kuch Mein Bhi Kahoon. The book will be launched soon.`

According to the informer, coming from a Tamil Brahmin family in Chennai, Subbu astonished everyone when he decided to wield his pen in Urdu. The source adds, `With no lingual experience to tap in and no lineage to boast of, he has drawn his inspiration from only the language. The poems are a collection of ghazals, nazms and rubayees.`

Bachchan apparently loved the verses that have been simultaneously drafted in English as well.

Manoj Bajpayee is set to launch the book tomorrow. The event will be attended by celebrities from Bollywood and the ad fraternity.
