Telly star agreed to play John Abraham's sister in a film only after hubby Kabir Khan coaxed her to say yes

Mini Mathur is one of the best-known names when it comes to hosting telly shows. However, when it was about getting associated with a film, Mini had her doubts. Sources say it was her director husband Kabir Khan who ultimately convinced her to green light the project.

Mini will essay John Abraham's sister in the film helmed by Kapil Sharma.

A source says, `When Goldie Behl, Kapil and John approached her with the script, she liked it but wasn't too keen on doing the film. It was only after Kabir coaxed her did she give her nod.`

And according to Kabir, the TV host was never too keen to act on the big screen. He adds, `She only likes presenting. But I nudged her to take this on for fun, as she knows John, Goldie and Kapil already. I am glad I could change her mind.`
