This is the first time Balaji and Mohit Suri will be working together. The story will have many elements, however action and romance will be prominent. It will be Sidharth's first out-and-out masala film, showcasing him in a new avatar as tomorrow's angry, young man.
Sidharth, the hottest debutant of the year, was the makers' first choice for "The Villain". They were looking for a rugged, good looking action star, and Sidharth fit the bill effortlessly.
Thr former model, shared his excitement about the new project.
"Really excited about my new project with Balaji... Will be fun walking the dark side," Sidharth tweeted.
After making a successful debut with Karan Johar's "Student Of The Year", the actor has been also been roped in to star in "Hansee Toh Phansi", another Dharma Productions film.
Sidharth's "Student Of The Year" co-star Varun is also doing a Balaji film, a remake of Telugu film "Kandireega". It will be directed by Varun's father David Dhawan.

This will also mark Mohit Suri's first film outside the Bhatt camp.
The makers are yet to identify a female lead opposite Sidharth. The film will go on floor in September this year and release early next year.
