It picks up from where the first season ended with the birth of their younger son, Kai, and focusses on the adventures of a family of four.
Tara, seen in films like "Om Jai Jagadish", "Masti" and "Page 3", is excited about working on the new offering.
"When I was pregnant and soon after our elder son, Zen, was born, I realised that I wanted to get back to work, yet I was so enjoying being a hands-on-mum that I didn't want to leave him for long periods of time and go for outdoor shoots. So, I racked my brains to think of what I could do and eventually came up with the concept of the show," Tara said in a statement.
A mother of two - Zen and Kai, born in 2009 and 2011, respectively - Tara, married to producer Roopak Saluja, announced the show's launch in Mumbai Tuesday. She was accompanied by actor Rahul Bose and some of her friends, along with their children.
Tara will take viewers through a realistic diary of her experiences and adventures as a mother.
She will highlight issues like the bond of siblings, the journey of bringing up a new-born and toddler, as well as travelling with kids to locations like London, Thailand and Cannes.
It has guest appearance by Konkona Sen Sharma, Maria Goretti, Tusshar Kapoor, Vivek Oberoi, John Abraham, Madhu Sapre and Sandhya Mridhul.
The show will air every Sunday morning on Colors and at 9 p.m. on Nick.
