Sources say that Sonu Sood can't contain his excitement after having seen some portions of his upcoming film where he plays Dawood Ibrahim

The actor has apparently been receiving a flurry of calls from his fans and friends alike after they watched him in the film's promo. And as a token of gratitude, Sonu has gifted director Sanjay Gupta a high-end watch.

Our source says, `The response to the promos has been good and Sonu has been getting many calls regarding his look.`

Says Sonu, `I felt that this is definitely one of my best roles till date. Sanjay is my brother and it was something that I did just out of an impulse.`
