Siddharth who was much appreciated for his intense performance in Rang De Basanti is back on the block with yet another Hindi flick. However, this time around, he's part of a comic caper for a change. And the actor is more than just thrilled.
The 33-year-old, who had been lately busy with South film assignments, was last seen in Deepa Mehta's Midnight's Children. After being part of such 'strong' roles, Siddharth is all set to showcase a different side in David Dhawan's Chashme Baddoor.
`Comedy is usually a very technical and serious business and I enjoyed attempting it. Fortunately, David's film is bound to have a lot of impromptu comedy. He's an easy person to be around and he gives you the space to develop your own rhythm on the sets, ` says the actor-producer.
`I laughed so much during the making. I left the shoot feeling energised and younger. My goal was to make David laugh and when that happened, I considered my job well done, ` sums up Sid.
