Standup comedian and actor walked out of Shashant Shah's next to do film with Kangna Ranaut

Director Shashant Shah might have never imagined that his film Bajate Raho would suffer a roadblock with just two days to go before the film goes on the floors. With one of the lead actors of the film Vir Das staging a walkout, Shah has now finalised Ranveer Shorey for the same role.

Our source says, `The film has Tusshar Kapoor in the lead role and Vir was playing another important role. However he opted out at the last minute as his dates were clashing with another film that has him paired opposite Kangna Ranaut. Looks like he chose Kangs over this project.`

On why Shah chose Ranveer to replace Vir, the source states, `It's a revenge comedy, a genre which has never been attempted before in Bollywood. He wanted an actor who is good with comedy as well and that's why he finally chose Ranveer.` Vir and Shah chose not to reply to our SMSes.
