Adnan Sami has denied he has any differences with singer Sunidhi Chauhan.

"There's absolutely no difference between us," insisted Sami. His comments followed reports that Sunidhi, who is performing alongside him in the US and Canada, had returned to Mumbai leaving him high and dry.

"High and dry?? Hello!! Now, where did that come from?" Adnan asks.

"The fact is Sunidhi had returned to India, but for a few days for an urgent job. She joins me again at Calgary. Where's the question of any differences with her?

"She's a sweetheart, a truly noble soul. We're both Leos, our birthdays are separated by a day, and we get along famously," said Adnan in Los Angeles where he performed at the Shrine Auditorium Sunday.

After the Los Angeles tour, Adnan and Sunidhi will perform at Calgary, Washington, San Francisco and Detroit.

Adnan says he has never felt better about life.

"The concerts so far in Toronto, New York, Orlando, Houston, San Francisco and Los Angeles have been stupendous in terms of audience response," he said.

"I can't describe the experience. I kept remembering that the Shrine Auditorium was the stage on which Jack Nicholson, Walter Mathau and other Hollywood greats had walked by. By the end of the experience people were piggy riding each other and dancing in the aisles.

"When 15,000 people join you in a song and when a little girl in pleats and braces walks up shyly to you to say, 'I kinda like your Tera chehra number' all your efforts to get on stage in city after city for almost non-stop performances seems worth it. The minute I mention my songs from 'Lucky' the audience gets all revved up."

The Adnan Sami concerts were sold out well in advance. So after the unqualified success of Shah Rukh Khan's concerts earlier this year, is this the time for the revival of concerts by Bollywood icons overseas?

"Possibly. It does seem as though audiences keenly want to see what I've to offer on stage," opines Adnan.

So successful is Adnan's concert tour that he has been signed on for six additional performances in the US including two in Washington.

"And then we move to Britain for a second lap of concerts. I never thought I'd connect with audiences so effectively. It's a truly exhilarating experience," enthuses Adnan.
